The Great British Banjo Company
Visual identity for The Great British Banjo Company, a manufacturer with a vision to bring great British banjos to the world. Their flagship model; 'The Shackleton' is a banjo inspired by Sir Ernest Shackleton's ill fated expedition to the antarctic, in which a banjo was one of the few essential supplies saved from the vessel, described as ‘vital mental medicine’. The Shackleton required its own identity, one that would work across a variety of applications including banjos, advertising material and accessories. This would later lead on to a range of beers and high end consumer goods (see The Shackleton Vital Mental Medicine, and Shackleton Design & Manufacturing entries).
